Andy has over 30 years C-level executive leadership, consulting, executive coaching, leadership development, recruitment and selection and board experience with several high performance and high growth multi-national companies in retailing, financial services, consumer package goods, hospitality and technology.

He has led Human Resource organizations in Fortune 500 multi-national companies known for their high performance and high quality work environments. His corporate experiences include companies such as Charles Schwab, PepsiCo's Frito-Lay and Taco Bell enterprises, Williams-Sonoma and IngramMicro. He is experienced in coaching successful high performance executives, leadership and organizational development, executive search and advising compensation committees of boards of directors in public, private and start-up companies.

During his tenure at Schwab, Andy was Executive VP and Chief Human Resource Officer with worldwide responsibilities for leading and developing human capital strategies designed to align with and drive the company's substantial growth and enhance its employment brand in the marketplace. Schwab was recognized as a pre-eminent employer by Fortune, Catalyst, Working Women and others. Andy worked with the executive leadership team on developing business strategies, personal leadership and organizational effectiveness.

Andy has been recognized for his analytical, problem assessment and solving ability, open and honest communications and high personal standards and integrity. Throughout his career he has hired and coached many high performing individuals who have gone on to achieve significant personal success.

Recently he has worked closely with a broad portfolio of companies and boards of directors in bio-sciences, consumer package goods, education and health care. Projects include development of human capital strategies, mergers and acquisitions, cultural development, employee commitment and engagement, succession planning, leadership development, executive coaching, talent retention strategies, executive compensation and executive search.

Andy graduated with an MBA, MPA and BS from Long Island University. He holds an Executive Management Certification from the School of Industrial Relations and Labor Relations at Cornell University, and has been certified in coaching by the Center for Creative Leadership.

An outdoors person with a passion for skiing, fishing and golf, Andy has certifications in wilderness search and rescue and is a member of the National Ski Patrol.

Sandy has 30 years of international business experience in diverse industries at senior strategic leadership levels as well as leading a strategic human resources consulting firm.

He has held Senior Vice President and senior Human Resources leadership position at Gillette, Pillsbury, Diageo, Intercontinental Hotels and HSBC. Sandy led Human Resource organizations in Europe and the United States and is an experienced global executive.

Sandy's work has emphasized the development and implementation of Human Capital and organizational strategies on an international basis. He has broad and deep experience in integrating human capital strategies with business strategies.

International mergers and acquisitions have been significant areas of focus. For example, he was the Human Resources executive responsible for integrating acquisitions worldwide at HSBC while based in London and New York. Additionally, he was the HR head leading human capital initiatives during Diageo's acquisition of Pillsbury.

Sandy has extensive experience in developing and coaching senior leaders in Global 1000 organizations, and has particular strengths and interest in organization strategy, organization effectiveness and development, and talent management.

International and domestic US compensation have been important aspects of Sandy's career and he was head of compensation and benefits worldwide for HSBC in London.

Sandy has advanced degrees in Sociology and Economics from the University of Stirling in Scotland and is a certified Hudson Institute coach whose certification is recognized by the International Coaching Federation, as well as certified in coaching by the Center for Creative Leadership.

Sandy is certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) and is a qualified Appreciative Inquiry facilitator as well as being a member of the Society for Human Resource Management, the Human Resource Planning Society, the American Society for Training and Development and World at Work (formerly the American Compensation Association).

Sandy, a Scot, is of course a golf "fanatic" as well as an exercise addict. He maintains close ties with both business and family in the UK.
